Farm-to-table restaurants have gained a lot of traction in the past couple of years. Probably because they're delicious. The Farmhouse is a Southern-style restaurant that uses locally sourced ingredients. The woodsy interior might even trick you into thinking you're actually in a barn.
Pharmacy claims to serve Nashville's #1 burger, but please feel free to go and taste for yourself. There's a "Pharmacy Burger" for all you burger purists, or you can get adventurous and try their stroganoff burger complete with caramelized onions and melty swiss cheese. Mouth watering yet?
Nashville isn't exactly seafood city given its landlocked nature, which means finding raw fish that doesn't taste like freezer burn can be a challenge. Virago, however, is a delicious gem and worth a visit if you're in the mood for a modern night out. As an additional plus, they have an incredible cocktail list.
We couldn't not include one of the city's hot chicken addictions. Yes, it's a Nashville tradition starting all the way back in the 1930's. With heat levels ranging from "Southern" to "Damn Hot!" You're probably going to find something your taste-buds can handle. That said, don't get too cocky, it's called hot chicken for a reason.
If you're in need of a crepe fix or wish you were celebrating your bachelorette/bachelor weekend in Paris, France, then you may want to check out this adorable creperie located in Germantown. Their savory and sweet crepes will make you smile. Don't forget to order a cup of coffee as well.
When you're ravenous or particularly nostalgic for the large country dinners your Grandma used to make for the entire family, Monell's should come to mind. Sit down at long tables and pass the portions. You may want to loosen your belt for this one.
The sparkling tile decor will inspire some instagram photoshoots, but once you sit down it's the duck fat tater tots you should be ordering. They may in fact be the best tater tots in Nashville, but again, it's up to you to decide. In the heart of downtown, Merchants makes a perfect 1st stop for your evening.
Another popular European option in Nashville is Marche. Dinner is delicious but so are Saturday and Sunday brunches. Homemade jam, petite tables and white table-cloths will transport you into the heart of France. C'est délicieux!
Don't fret, we haven't forgotten all of the vegetarian and vegan bellies. The Wild Cow, situated in East Nashville, is a casual and fun place to eat with friends. Organic and locally sourced ingredients mean that you really can say "Delicious and nutritious!"
Food, art, is there a difference? Chef Deb Paquette has lived and worked in Nashville for the last 30 years and her creativity in the kitchen will give your tastebuds a run for their money. Take it from us, the price tag is worth it for this one.
